Happy blogoversary to me. Happy blogoversary to me. Happy blogoversary dear Lavender Lines. Happy blogoversary to meeee. Oh, and to youuuuuuu. Cuz I have some awesome stuff for you guys! I started the giveaways a day early yesterday, but for the actual BIG DAY I have one of my favorite books of the past year for you. Signed. Oh, and doodled on. Pretty cool, eh?
Up for grabs is one personalized copy of Ashes, Ashes by Jo Treggiari. (I just found out I get to met Jo in September at Word on the Street Halifax. Color me excited and fan-girly.) I frigging LOVED this book. I mean it. Here’s a link to my review in case you don’t believe me.
This one’s open to Canada and the US folks. Just comment and let me know an author that you would DIE to meet. (Well, not die literally. You know what I mean.) Contest closes 11:59pm EST August 29th.
Happy bloggoversary!!!! /// *singsong*
I’d say Agatha Christie or J.R.R. Tolkien, except I’d have to die literally to meet them. 😉
A marginally more realistic answer: J.K. Rowling. The Harry Potter books are, I believe, my generation’s Lord of the Rings, and I’d… Okay, I can honestly say I’d have NO IDEA what I’d do if I ever actually met her. 🙂
…I am so excited Jo’s going to be at WotS! I have Ashes, Ashes sitting on my TBR shelf right now, so I guess I better get on reading it 😉 And happy official blogoversary!!
(and you don’t have to enter me, but I thought I’d answer the question anyway) I would die to meet either J. K. Rowling or Scott Westerfeld. Both authors highly influenced my reading tastes and love of books.
Happy Blogaversary. I would love to meet Stephen King…just to see if he’s really as creepy as everyone says. I’m really glad you decided to carry on with your blogging. Like Cait, I would love to meet J.K Rowling. I’d love to talk to her about how her success has changed her life and I would also love to meet Nora Roberts. Here books have a little of everything I love.
Happy BLogaversary – I would love to meet JK Rowling or Penny Vincenzi – 2 great British Authoris – love their books & of course I would be very popular at home meeting JK Rowling!
I’d love to meet Monica Hughes (but I’d have to literally die to meet her).
I won Ashes,Ashes from the Slave Lake book auction, SUCH A GOOOOD BOOK!! so don’t enter me, I just wanted to share who I’d like to meet. Kelley Armstrong!! I would so love to meet her!
I’m meeting Kelley in November at Hal-con. I shall be a drooling, crying fangirl mess. LOL
Ugh! So jealous!
Want, want, want!
Does the author have to be alive? Because I’d love to meet LM Montgomery!
Hmmmm, that’s a toughie because there are so many fantastic authors. I’d probably have to choose either J.K. Rowling or J.R. Ward or Dean Koontz!
Happy Blogoversary, and thanks for the giveaway!

Happy bloggoversary! How exciting meeting the aithor of a book we totally love!! I’m hoping to make it to Word on the Street this year if all goes well.
Happy blogoversary again! There are so many authors I’d love to meet. The obvious one, like most people, is J.K. Rowling. She’d be amazing to meet. Although, I’d also love to meet Karsten Knight. He is so funny in his vlogs that I know I’d have a blast if I got to meet him.
Thanks for the giveaway 🙂

I’d love to meet Ray Bradbury. I don’t think we’d see eye to eye on a lot, because he doesn’t seem to believe in tech much, but he’s one of my early writing heroes, & I’d love to give him a hug and confess to thinking of him as “Grandfather.”
